Yayyy I'm back! I took a short blog break to finish up sewing and attend all the last week of school events etc etc etc. But now it is school holidays - our big summer break starts round about now - I am taking a short sewing break AND I have time to blog again - now and again I do manage to blog about something OTHER than sewing and as luck would have it...today is one of those days. So today's topic is Christmas - I am rather partial to my Christmas decor so I thought I would start in one corner of the room and work my way around! So this year we bought a new tree - I know I know......we don't have a real tree,we go for the mock tree, (someone was showing me a plastic terracotta pot today and referred to it as "Mockcotta" isn't that a hoot!!!!!!) So I guess our tree is a Mockee. We of course did not throw out the old one - Loughie is now the proud owner of his very own Christmas tree with all the lovely old ornaments. The Mockee is white and I have deep breath opted for a themed tree, something I have secretly fantasized about for years. And not only that but I have let myself go completely mad and bought a wholesale roll (220 yards) of matching paper. Do you think its too much? Maybe but I LOVE it, LOVE it. Every time I cut from that honking big roll I just feel all happy and jolly and - coordinated!!!

Here it is!! Isn't it FAB!

Beautiful pics Cree!!! You and I are on the same page about the paper - I bought a big ol' huge roll of wholesale paper too after seeing MIL do it last year and LOVING how it all looked when wrapped the same. :)

Merry Christmas!! :)
